Understanding pulses

Suppose you have an ideal spring of length L, mass M, and spring constant K. You keep it on a horizontal frictionless surface, and gently tap it on one end. What will be the expression of time required for the pulse, so generated, to reach the other end? (Assume one single pulse is generated) Given: M = 1 kg; L = 1 m; K = 100 N/m

The answer is 0.1.
