UPDATED - The Pie Dilemma

Number Theory Level pending

Kayne and Lisa were sharing a pie. If Kayne had the 1/2 of what Lisa had, and Lisa had at least 1/8 of the whole pie (considering that they both had some, and they ate the whole pie), how much did Kayne have?

8/17 1/4 1/3 1/16

Thank you Chris Lewis and everybody else for commenting on the first pie dilemma problem. I appreciate it :) The answer is 1/3, because if Kayne had 1/3, Lisa would have had 2/3, so 1/3 + 2/3 = 3/3, which is 1.
