On a battleship a radar scans a circular area that has a radius of 60 miles. In one second, it sweeps an arc of 45 degrees. Calculate the area of land it sweeps in 9 seconds. In your calculations round values to 3 decimal places and remember to leave your answer in square miles for the area that the radar covers and leave your answer to 3 decimal places.
