Vector Math (Part 2)

Level 2

The Grid now has 2 vectors A and B , where

A = 6i-2j+2k

B = 3i-j+k

What is the angle between the two vectors?

We recognize the fact that A || B (A is parallel to B) because A = 2B

Multiplying one vector by a constant yields another vector, thus they are parallel.

Hence, angle between them is 0

In the case the method mentioned by Raghav Dua doesn't work, like if it isnt parallel, this longer method works.

The cosine of the angle = dot product of both vectors / product of both vectors.

So the cosine of the angle = 22/22 = 1

So the angle is 0.
