Vectors through products.

Let a , b , c \vec a, \vec b, \vec c be three non-coplanar unit vectors such that the angle between every pair of them is π 3 \frac {\pi}{3} . If a × b + b × c = p a + q b + r c {\vec a} \times {\vec b} + {\vec b} \times {\vec c} = p \vec a + q \vec b + r \vec c , where p , q , r p, q, r are scalars, then evaluate

p 2 + 2 q 2 + r 2 q 2 \large \frac {p^2 + 2q^2 + r^2}{q^2} .

The answer is 4.

@Aaghaz Mahajan , try multiplying the given equality both sides by a vector then b vector then c vector separately and add all three equations.
