Vertical Cut of a Cone

Calculus Level 4

A right circular cone with base radius 5 5 and height 10 10 is positioned such its circular base is centered at the origin, and its apex is at ( 0 , 0 , 10 ) (0,0,10) . It is cut by the plane x = 2 x = 2 , and the part of the cone that has x > 2 x \gt 2 is removed. This is illustrated in the figure above. Find the volume of the part of the cone that has been removed. If this volume is V V then enter 1 0 4 V \lfloor 10^4 V \rfloor .

The answer is 438618.
