|x - 2| = 0 for x = 2, and increasing linearly on both sides.

|x - 3| = 0 for x = 3, and increasing linearly on both sides.

So |x - 2| + |x -3| = 1 for x's between 2 and 3, and increasing by 2 on either side. It reaches 3 at x= 1 and x = 4.

if we put any value of x, less than 1 or greater than 4 answer would be in +ve form
