Recall that 1 mL = 1 g , 1 \text{ mL} = 1 \text{ g}, so 100 g = 100 mL . 100 \text{ g} = 100 \text{ mL}.

But, since milli- represents 1 0 3 , 10^{-3},

100 mL = 100 × 1 0 3 L = 0.1 L . 100\text{ mL} = 100\times 10^{-3} \text{ L} = 0.1 \text{ L}.
