John applies 500 N 500 \text{ N} force to hold a box in his hand. What is the mass (in kilogram) of the box is acceleration due to gravity g = 10 m/s 2 g= 10 \text{ m/s}^2 ?

[WEIGHT] = [MASS]×[GRAVITATIONAL PULL] & IN THIS CASE,, →WEIGHT = 500N & →GRAVITATIONAL PULL = 10m/s²

MASS = [WEIGHT]÷[GRAVITATIONAL PULL] = 500 ÷ 10 = 50kg

That would be mass, not weight.
