Let $b$ and $w$ be the cost of the bottle and wine (in Euro), respectively.

$b+w=10$ $\color{#D61F06}(1)$

$w=8+b$ $\color{#D61F06}(2)$

Substitute $\color{#D61F06}(2)$ in $\color{#D61F06}(1)$ . We have

$b+8+b=10$

$2b+8=10$

$2b=2$

$\boxed{b=1}$
