What was the speed?

Algebra Level 3

One day I was traveling in an auto. The driver had started the meter at time t = 0 t=0 and distance d = 0 d= 0 . When passed after a while, I had observed the reading on the meter to be t = 5 min t = 5\text{ min} and d = 6 km d = 6\text{ km} and thereon it was found that for every km I traveled, the numerical difference between the value of the distance and the time to be 1.2

What must be the average speed of the auto? (in km/hr \text{km/hr} )

The answer is 62.2.
