The expression basically asks us "what is the remainder when e is divided by 0"

You may recall from any of your math classes that division by 0 is not defined! There are many interesting proofs for it and I recommend that you check out Brilliant's wiki here https://brilliant.org/wiki/division-by-zero/

Since the division is not defined, we have neither a quotient nor a remainder. Hence, the expression is undefined!
