5.9 × 6.4 = 6 × 6 = 36 \lceil{5.9}\rceil × \lfloor6.4\rfloor\\ = 6 × 6\\ = \color{#3D99F6}{\boxed{36}}

A bit late, but anyway - a ceiling function always rounds a number up to the next integer (as with 5.9 ---> 6)

A floor function always rounds down to the last integer (as 6.4 ---> 6).

You can check the wiki links shown in the question.

5.9 × 6.4 = 6 × 6 = 36 \lceil 5.9 \rceil \times \lfloor 6.4 \rfloor\\ = 6 \times 6\\ =\boxed{36}
