There was an egg seller .He sold half of eggs he has and half an egg yo first customer then he sold half of eggs remaining and half an egg to second customer. Again to third customer he sold half of eggs remaining and half an egg. However, he did not break any egg. At end he has only 3 eggs left. Then how many eggs he has before the sale ?
The answer is 31.

When you look at question carefully, you reads half an egg which sounds weird, but practically it is possible with breaking an egg. How , you saw the answer 31. When sells exactly half an egg its comes out 15.5 . You can't take 15.5 eggs so you take half an egg more, which said by the question. you actually buy 16 eggs. How to solve, he has 3 eggs . He sold half an egg , this means he had 3.5 eggs before, which is not possible practically but we assume. Now 2 times 3.5 = 7. Then again, this process will be followed. At end you will get answer 31.
