So the ans is 6^2+1=37

The general terms to this sequence is a n = n 2 + ( − 1 ) n a_n = n^2+(-1)^n , thus, a 6 = 6 2 + ( − 1 ) 6 = 37 a_6 = 6^2+(-1)^6 = 37
