What do i wear?

Logic Level 3

Three contestants are standing after each other, wearing three differently colored hats. The one who is wearing the red hat should say out loud that he is wearing the red one. How did he know that he was wearing the red hat?

Reminder: No one of them was capable of looking backward or any other side (just in front of them) + No reflection led him to know

A. He was cheated the color of his hat A and D B and C B. He did that by elimination C and D D. No one spoke so he knew C. He knows what the person infront of him wears and what the person behind him sees

If the last person had seen no red hat, this person would have concluded that his own red was hat, and would have spoken up. He doesn't; therefore the last person sees a red hat (C2). The middle person knows the the first person's hat is blue (C1); therefore he concludes, by elimination (B), that his own hat must be blue.

Isn't D D more important than B B ???

It's because the contestant behind him didn't speak ( D ) D) that he could guess that he had the red hat.

Then he used elimination ( B B ).

I think that the answer should be [ C C and D D ] or [ B B , C C and D D ].

No, because the answer (C) includes (D) by saying that the person behind him knows what he sees... Thus, (D) alone is incorrect and (B,C, and D) is a repetition... Thus, (B and C) is the only correct answer
