Among all the colours of visible light violet has the lowest wavelength ( 4 0 0 0 A r m s t r o n g ) and red light has the highestt wavelength ( 6 5 0 0 A r m s t r o n g ) .
Also, Dispersion or various colours of visible light is inversely proportional to their wavelengths.
Therefore, violet will bend the most and red will bend the least. Hence, violet pencil appears more bent than red one.
