P + Q = 9 P+Q=9

2 Q = 10 2Q=10

Q = 5 Q=5

P = 4 P=4

R = 2 − 1 = 1 R=2-1=1

Check: 454 + 1555 = 2009 454+1555=2009

P + Q + R = 10 P+Q+R=\boxed{10}
