I removed a small cube from the given big cube as seen in the figure. The portion l removed is 1 4 \frac{1}{4} of the larger cube. If the surface area of the original cube was 125 c m 125 cm . What is the new surface area after cutting the cubic portion?

The area is the same because you removed a part of the cube but there is still the same area only on a bit smaller parts.
