If my grandfather has only one child so how he will also have a daughter. It is not possible because in problem clearly mention that only one child.

The grandmother could have a daughter from another marriage (so half-sister to the grandfather's only child). That would make John and Mark cousins (could we say half-cousins?).

I thought the implication was that the grandfather only had two children, because it says the "sister of only one child", meaning that she only had one sibling as opposed to being the sister of multiple people. If you wanted to be clear that the grandfather had only one child and that the statement was inherently contradictory, it should have said "sister of THE only one child", but it still wouldn't make a ton of sense to even ask that.
