Well, it's a cubical container of side length 10cm. The volume of the container is 1000 c m 3 cm^3

1 c m 3 cm^3 is approximately equal to 1 gram

Therefore we have about 1000 grams of water filling the container. dividing this mass by the molar mass, 18g/mol, we get the moles of water in 1000 c m 3 cm^3

the molarity

55.5

as molarity of pure water is 55.5 mol/L then :

  • Find the volume of cubical container in litre = 10x10x10 / 1000 = 1 L

  • 55.5 mol/L times 1 = 55.56 mo l

I think water doesn't has molarity... cause the water is liquid form, not aquoeus form ._.

(10cm)^3 x (1mL/cm^3) x (1L/1000mL) x (1000g/L) x (1mol/18.02g) x (1/1L) = 55.49mol/L

its a very simple deal - the volume of cubical container = 1000 cc -we know tht 1000gm mass covers 1000cc -Molar mass of water= 18 g
- Molarity = Moles/l
- So required no of moles of water = (1000/18 )=55.56
