When we place consecutive boxes together, we find that the two blue lines connect and continue. And only the two lines of box b \boxed b connect at the end.

@Hana Wehbi , note that lowercase a, b, c, and d are used in the figure, so lowercase should also be used in the answer options instead of uppercase. I have amended it. I used LaTex so that the font in the answer options is same as that in the figure.
