In each row and column we have a blue ball. Thus C cannot be the answer!

D and E also cannot be the answer, because row-wise and column-wise there must be 2 corner lines and one diagonal line. Thus, the problem boils down to either A or B.

Now, looking column-wise A or B can be the answer. This is confusing! But, looking row-wise B suits here, because there is a line at top and bottom corner if B would have been in the missing position.

Thus, B is the answer.

3 balls at center,3 diagonal lines,3 lines above diagonal and 3 lines below diagonal.

each row has 1 box with upper corner line, 1 box with lower corner line and 1 box with diagonal.... in each row blue ball is in only one particular pattern box and other pattern boxes are empty... in 2nd row there is box with diagonal and ball, box with lower corner line and hence remaining is the answer that is box with only upper corner line.....

each row has 3 blocks.

Pattern:

(i) 1 block has diagonal at centre

&

(ii) 1 block has diagonal at bottom left

&

(iii) 1 block has diagonal at top right

&

(iv) any one of the 3 blocks has a ball at it's centre.

2nd row satisfies (i), (ii), and (iv). So only (iii) is missing. that is the top right diagonal. Hence B is the answer.

just follow the pattern by adding up it...

Row-wise addition does , but column-wise adding the pattern won't work.
