simply concentrate on the two series of numbers in the displayed order of time , that is the numbers that occur before the colon and those after the colon. ---- For the first series; 1,2,4,?,11. we can easily make out that each term is obtained by adding consecutive natural numbers to the preceding term. 2= 1+1 ; 4=2+2; ?=4+3 =7 -----for the second series; 59, 42, 27, ? , 3 each nth term is obtained by subtracting terms of sequence; 17,15,13,11. . . in order. 42=59-17; 27=42-15; ? =27-13=14 --hence answer is : 7.14 --

check the difference in minutes going thou ordinary clock,so 43,then 45 so it will be 47.so min27+47 means 74 when hour point pass its 14 !.check the sum of hours & minutes 60,44,31 take the difference 60-44=16,44-31=13 so the difference 10 means 21! so hour reading 21-14 so 7 answer will be 7.14
