When it is x deg Celsius, it will be 9 5 x + 32 \frac{9}{5} x +32 deg Farenheit. What we are looking for is x = 9 5 x + 32 \frac{9}{5} x +32 so - 4 5 x \frac{4}{5} x = 32 and x= − 40 \boxed{-40} .

The answer is -40 because at this temperature,both Celsius and Fahrenheit scales show same reading
