The graphs and tables above show the Android version distribution in 2014 and 2016. The blue regions denote percentage of Android devices running Jelly Bean at the given time.

In 2014, 60.7% of Android devices were running Jelly Bean, whereas in 2016, a mere 23.9% of devices were running Jelly Bean.

Suppose there were X X Android phones in 2014, Y Y in 2016. Note that the data does not provide us information about the number of Android phones, i.e. we do not know the values of X X and Y Y .

There were 0.607 X 0.607 X Jellybean phones in 2014, and 0.239 Y 0.239Y Jellybean phones in 2016. We only know the percentages and not the actual number of Jellybean phones in 2014 and 2016, thus we really cannot infer whether the number of Jellybeans has decreased or increased (or stayed the same). _\square
