( 2016 ) 10 = ( 11111100000 ) 2 \left( 2016 \right)_{10} = \left( 11111100000 \right)_2 a n d and ( 2017 ) 10 = ( 11111100001 ) 2 \left( 2017 \right)_{10} = \left( 11111100001 \right)_2 t h e r e f o r e therefore ( 2016 ) 10 O R ( 2017 ) 10 = ( 11111100001 ) 2 = ( 2017 ) 10 \left( 2016 \right)_{10} \, OR \, \left( 2017 \right)_{10} = \left( 11111100001 \right)_2 =\left( 2017 \right)_{10}

2016 can be concider as low level (0) 2017 can be consider as high level(1) high (1) OR low (0)=high(1)

Actually, you have take OR of the respective bits in the binary representation of both 2016 and 2017
