Four friends Alice,Bob,Charlie and Dan each won some money at a betting game. They each know that out of the 4 of them, they won the amounts $25,$20,$10,$5. They all know that no one knows anyone else’s prize amount.
In an effort to guess how much money everyone else has, they make the following statements-
Alice I am not the person with the least money.
Bob Oh! Well, I’m not the person with the most money.
Charlie I know that one of you have $5 more than me.
? Yes! Now I know how much money all of you have.
Assuming they all were telling the truth, who could have made the final statement?

Seeing that Charlie only has 2 possibilities left in the table, someone else who occupied one of those two possibilities could have deduced what Charlie had and their two numbers together would have left Bob with no other options save the $10 and the last person with the most money of $25. Since Charlie and Bob had to be the second and third deducible person, then only Alice and Dan could have been the first person who make that final statement.
