One day, a chemist was killed. There are three suspects. His wife Mary, His nephew Nicolas, and has friend Johnathan. There was no evidence of the crime expect for a paper that said -Nickel -Carbon -Oxygen -Lanthanum -Sulfur Who was the killer?

If you combine the short names of the elements, you get Ni(Nickel) C(Carbon) O(Oxygen) La(Lanthanum) S(Sulfur) which add up to NiCOlaS.

Did you mean NiCOLaS?

No, that was for the elements. Ni+C+O+La+S=Nicolas but, I was going to put that in the solution but I decided not to. But anyways, I hope you enjoyed my level! :D
