Whoops

Level 2

Above is a 4x6 chess board. Min and Ty will be placing some coins onto the boxes on the chess board.

When Min places a coin on anywhere on the chess board, Ty can only place the nearby boxes.Example:

After Ty places another coin, the same rules applies to Min and its repeating.

After placing coins all over the board, the one who can't place anymore coins loses.

If both use good strategies and Min starts first, who will win? And state the strategy for why your pick will win below in the solution section.

(There's only one best strategy for one of the two players and the strategy will guarentee a win all the time for the player using the strategy!!)

(I made a mistake of the answer just now, this is updated.)

Min Tie Ty

So take 12 imaginary 2x2 boxes and place it on the chess board and place it with a same pattern.

So, whenever Min place a coin on any of the spots, Ty can place it on the other side.

Therefore, after 24 moves, it will be Min's turn to place a coin but there is no more space left. Thus, Min will lose.
