Why is it that the Mornings and evenings are cooler compared to afternoons?

The sunlight makes grater angels with the Earth during Mornings and Evenings
We move farther from the sun during Morning and Evenings
Because the Earth orbits the sun in an ellipse
Because the Earth is not a perfect sphere

During mornings and evenings the sun's rays will make more angle with the Earth, so they have to travel more distance threw atmosphere (where they will be partially reflected & absorbed). But they make smaller angels during the afternoons so they will travel less distance threw the atmosphere. So afternoons are hotter compared to Evenings and Mornings
