The formula for calculating the mean or average =sum of the terms/number of terms. Here the sum of the terms is 126 and the number of terms are 9.So the mean will be 126/9 i.e.14.

126/9=14

To find the mean of a set of numbers, you add them all up and divide by the number of numbers. When you add 2+5+8+11+14+17+20+23+26, you get 126. Then, you divide 126 by 9 and you get 14. The correct answer is 14.

2+26/2=14

Mean is the average of the set of given values . For that we should add all the numbers and then divide it by the count of numbers, i.e., number of numbers. So in this problem the sum of the numbers is 126. Now we have to divide this by the count , which is 9 numbers. So average = 126/9 = 14
