Will the aircraft takeoff?

Logic Level 2

An aircarft is standing on a runway, but this runway is a treadmill, who will move exactly opposite to the plane. So, if the plane is moving 10mph, the treadmill will go 10mph opposite direction. Will the aircraft be able to takeoff?

No Yes

The plane will take off because it is the engine's thrust accelerating it, not the wheels like in cars. A plane can also safely take off on a friction-less surface (e.g. ice)

The speed of the treadmill will affect the turning speed of the wheels, but will not destroy the aircraft ability to takeoff and fly.
