There are four cases, let's call the answers + and − respectively
Case 1: You pick − and it's wrong
You have answered truthfully, but you didn't get the problem right.
Case 2: You pick + and it's wrong
You lied and got it wrong.
Case 3: You pick − and it's right
You got the problem right, but you lied.
Case 4: You pick + and get it right
You got the problem right and answered truthfully. Well done.
