Solution 1: draw line L 3 L_3 perpendicular to both L 1 L_1 and L 2 , L_2, making a pentagon with the other lines. The angles of a pentagon always add to 54 0 , 540^\circ, so w = 54 0 18 0 12 6 ( 18 0 5 8 ) = 11 2 w = 540^\circ-180^\circ-126^\circ-(180^\circ-58^\circ) = \boxed{112^\circ}

Solution 2: draw line L 3 L_3 parallel to L 1 L_1 and passing through point W . W. This is a simple transversal problem. w = a + ( 18 0 b ) w = a + (180^\circ - b) w = 5 8 + 5 4 = 11 2 w = 58^\circ + 54^\circ = \boxed{112^\circ}
