Wonder WHY?

Two blocks A and B of masses m and M respectively, are released from rest at a height H above the horizontal surface. Block of mass m slides down a fixed curved surface while block of mass M slides down a fixed incline plane as shown.

Both surfaces are frictionless and M>m.

(Horizontal surface is ground surface)

Then which of the following is most appropriate-

Time taken by A to reach ground is larger because the path it takes is longer. Time taken by B to reach ground is lesser because its horizontal acceleration is larger. Time taken by A to reach ground is lesser as it has larger acceleration initially. Time taken A and B to reach ground is same as both are released from same height.
