It chucks 12 pounds per hour

So, it would chuck

                        12 X 20 = 240

pounds in twenty hours

It's a unitary method sum... in 1 hour he makes 12 pounds.. so in 20 hours he would make (12 x 20)pounds...i.e. 240 pounds

All you have to do is is multiply. You have to multiply 20 hours times 12 pounds, because that is how much he chuck within a hour. And this answer is 240 pounds

I basically did 20 hours multiply by 12 pounds per hour= 240 pounds in 20 hours.
