If the woodchuck could chuck 12 pounds of wood in 1 hour, 20 * 12 = 240 woods. Therefore, 20 hours it can chuck 240 pounds of wood.

Hi Daphne!it's totally easy for anyone but if we want to try this math quicker (in mind) then we just can multiply 12 with 2 and add ' 0 ' digit at the end of the product,ri8??!Btw i was just taking a chance to give a comment!!!;P don't mind.

If a woodchuck chuck 12 pounds in 1 hour, then it would chuck 240 pounds in 20 hours. You would multiply 12 by 20.

woods chucked in one hour = 12 pounds so, woods chucked in 20 hours = 12 X 20 = 240 pounds.
