WORK , ENERGY and POWER

A particle moves under the effect of a force F = k x 2 F=kx^{2} from x = 0 x=0 to x = 4 x= 4 . The work done by the force is

128 k 3 \frac{128k}{3} 8 k 3 \frac{8k}{3} 32 k 3 \frac{32k}{3} 64 k 3 \frac{64k}{3}

Work done = 0 4 k x 2 d x \int\limits_0^4 kx^{2}dx = 4 3 3 k 0 3 k 3 \frac{4^{3}}{3}k- \frac{0^{3}k}{3} = 64 k 3 \frac{64k}{3} .
