1/12 - 1/18 = 1/36 . so "B" alone can do the work in 36 days.

1/18 + 1/B = 1/12. Solve for B = 36

a can do 1 in 18h . a can do what in 12h? answer is 2/3 so that b can do 1/3 in 12h
