It was given that ,

x = 3 x = 3

y = 2 x y = 2x

Now,

3 2 x = 6 x 3 \cdot 2x = 6x

6 x = 6 × 3 = 18 6x = 6 \times 3 = 18

3 y = 6 x = 6 × 3 = 18 3y=6x=6 \times 3=\boxed {18} .

3 y = 6 x y = 2 x 3y=6x\implies y=2x but it is given that y = 3 x y=3x

The question has been edited. Before it was y = 2 x y=2x only.
