Let b b be a bit (either 0 or 1) and x and y be any integers.

b XOR b = 0 \implies x XOR y = 0 when x=y, therefore 2016 \color{grey}{2016} X O R \color{#BBBBBB}{XOR} 2016 \color{grey}{2016} = \color{grey}{=} 0 \color{grey}{0} :)
