The limit does not exist. It is very simple:

Right sided limit = 1 Obs: We can remove the module because the limit on the right is just positive

Left sided limit = -1

Obs: Similarly, the left limit returns negative values

So:

If x>0 y = 1

If x<0 y = -1

Check the Graph:

If the lateral limits are different, the limit does not exist
