Among the integers from I to 10,000,000,000 which are there more of: those in which the digit I occurs or those in which it does not occur?

Numbers where Digit 1 occurs. Numbers where Digit 1 does not Occur. Both numbers are equal. Its Not Possible to determine.

10,000,000,000 is a 11-digit number. So, if there is a number 1 0,000,000,000 then there is another number 00,000,000,00 1 .

Another example, 00,0 1 0,000,000 and 00,000,00 1 ,000.

Means the place of 1 from right and left are same. But there will be some number in which 1 is in the middle such a 23,445, 1 09,846. This number can't have any friend as in the above examples. So, ultimately there are more

NUMBERS WHERE 1 OCCURS. Hopefully, my solution is correct.

Your solution is great! Actually I count how many numbers that contain 1 1 exist (I found 9 , 000 , 000 , 000 9,000,000,000 , then I saw it was more than half of 10 , 000 , 000 , 000 10,000,000,000 , but your solution is really brilliant, because it's accurate. I don't need to count out how many numbers with digits 1 1 there is to find the answer!
