I am new to this website and I think I should post this problem here as it isn't multiple choice. If I am incorrect, please tell me.
A bag of coins contains 3 gold and 3 silver coins. Bob, John and Steve each take 2 coins from the bag without looking. They each only know the colour of their own coins.
Bob needs to find out the colour of John and Steve's coins, but he can only ask one of them one question. They can reply with 'yes', 'no' or 'I don't know'. What should he ask?
