A bug?

I noticed that when I hover over someone's name and I follow them from there, it doesn't actually follow the person. It just says you're following but when you refresh the page or return to the home page and check again, it says the normal 'Follow' button. This happened about 40 times to me since the new Brilliant update. When is it going to be fixed?
