1: Considering fractional parts, and the bases too

$\lambda(x,y) = \prod_{n=0}^\infty \frac{x}{ \frac{\lfloor y^n x \rfloor }{y^n} }$

Things noted:
For integer $c \neq 0$ , $\displaystyle \liminf_{y\to\infty} \lim_{x\to c^-} \lambda(c,y) = \frac 1c +1$ , while $\liminf_{y\to\infty} \lambda(c,y) =1$ .
An interesting fractal-esque relation appears when graphing $\lambda(k,x)$ for a given $k$ , especially farther down the x axis.
