A request about sharing

First of all, Hooray and great job! The preview finally works normaly in notes!

I think it would be awesome to add the posibility of leaving a short comment while re-sharing a problem. To avoid possible fraud and mis-interpretation of the feature, you may fix the phrases for the comment (i.e. something like a radio box, instead of text box).

For example: "Nicolae re-shared a problem by Best of NT and thinks it's awesome!" or "Calvin reshared a problem by student A and thinks it's quite challenging." This will be something similar to current Facebook option for the moods.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

We think that is a great idea too Nicolae. It would make things a lot more browse able if people could provide context as to why they reshared something. We would probably opt for the text box method, because we think the flexibility of being able to say exactly what you mean is probably worth the the risk of abuse/misinterpretation, but we don't have a strong opinion on that tradeoff yet.
