In the Brilliant physics curriculum it would be great if a section on Fluid Mechanics is added. To me, there could be many people including myself who are confused about some intricate concepts of the fluid mechanics, for e.g the lagrangian and the eulerian viewpoint which is a cornerstone for understanding the fluid kinematics and kinetics, applicability of the Bernoulli's equation, the concept of pressure potential energy, solving some basic flow scenarios like Couette and Poiseuille flows, Transition from laminar to turbulence and many more.
It is my humble request to the physics section to introduce introductory materials on Fluid Mechanics and also developing the concepts with various problems. I would like to get a feedback from others about what they think.
Thanks in advance for reading this note and giving the comments.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

We actually have a small section on Fluid Mechanics
Agreed that fluid mechanics could use more help. You can start volunteering with that by starting some wikis yourself.
Thanks for your feedback. I have seen that small section before, but I felt its not too adequate. As you suggested, I will definitely add something to it, but apart from that, it would be really nice if Brilliant starts a section on Fluid Mechanics itself as that will have more problems and will cover more topics.

Brilliant is a community driven platform. If someone volunteers to create these sections, they will be created. As it is, the staff is not working on that right now.
