About Posting Problems

How many decimal places does a numeric answer read? In some of my problems I tell people to answer to 9 decimals, but when I look at the answer displayed through the solutions/comments section, I only see 3 decimals shown.

Comments

We typically only display up to 3 significant figures.

When judging the correctness of a decimal answer, we only do so up to 1%.

I see. This explains why most people do not specify the number of decimals.
